Chronoswiss timepieces are regarded with utmost respect within the luxury watch community despite the fact that it only came into existence in 1983. What sets its founder, Gerd R. Lang, different from others in his field is his philosophy of making the watches for himself before anyone else. This allows him to play around and innovate without outside influences resulting in very designs. One beneficiary of this ideology is the Chronoswiss Classic collection. Its solid 21 part case is crafted in 18k rose gold or stainless steel and features its trademark onion-shaped crown. The Chronoswiss Classic is a modest size of 38mm and is driven by an automatic movement with a 42h power reserve. Very attractive with its guilloche dial with a sunray pattern alternating between Arabic Numerals and stick markers, the Chronoswiss Classic is offered in both time and date only or chronograph versions.
