Since its inception in 1955, Corum had been producing avant-garde timepieces, many of which are first of its kind. A collaborative effort between Gaston Ries and Renee Bannwart, the La Chaux-de-Fonds-based manufacture is a leader in exclusively designed watches produced in very limited quantities as to render each purchase a rare find. The Corum Mystere is a testament to this as it draws you in with its mirror dial featuring a silver or black center encircled by a unique bezel with Roman Numerals. Encased in stainlesss steel measuring approximately 36mm to 38mm in diameter, the Corum Mystere is powered by precision Swiss Quartz and provides a straightforward functionality with hour and minute hands. Featuring a display caseback and a 30m water depth rating, the Corum Mysteres technical and visual allure is hardly enigmatic.
