The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Grande Taille collection was introduced in 1931 and inspired by the enduring Art-Deco style. It was made with a swivel case especially designed for British colonial officers in India so that their watch will remain undamaged from hard knocks sustained during their Polo games. The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Grande Taille Model # 270.81.10 (Q2708110) features a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal that covers the front case silver dial with seconds sub-dial at 6 o'clock position and luminescent hands and Arabic numeral markers. A solid stainless steel caseback can be engraved and personalized. The manual-wound Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Grande Taille 270.81.10 is housed in 26-mm x 42-mm polished stainless steel case and bracelet with hidden folding clasp. This timepiece is water resistant to 30 meters (100 feet).
