The Panerai PAM 171 has automatic movement and a 44m titanium and polished steel case. This Panerai PAM Model # 00171 is deemed to be close to impossible to purchase. Initially, the Panerai PAM 171 is available in either the 44mm case or a smaller 40mm case. The power reserve indicator for this watch is located on the dial which displays the time remaining before you can go and wind it up again. This main function is what sets the Panerai PAM 171 apart and it is governed by a transmission device which is dependent on the spring barrel winding movement as well as the rotation of the movement that are both linked to the power reserve indicator.
