The Panerai PAM 00817 doesn't need descriptions to say that it is different. A mere look at it is sufficient to say that it is made different, much much superior to the the herd of watches being designed every minute. This watch features a steel case, black and grey dial and a black rubber and leather strap. Above everything, this watch comes with a cover(lid) for the dial. This lid is polished on the inner side and has the image of an eagle on the outer side. The cover in no way makes the watch look gaudy as most of the people would fear, infact it makes it look more elegant. There is small sub dial at 9 o'clock position and the date is displayed in a small window at 3 o'clock position.
