Not one to hold back on audacious innovation, French luxury watch brand Bell and Ross has released its newest model: the bold, boxy, and brilliant BR-X1. Inspired by the aviation industry and its significant breakthroughs, the BR-X1 features Bell & Ross?s iconic square box underneath a circular dial, and a hypersonic Skeleton Chronograph, which allows for viewing the complex gearing mechanisms inside, through an anti-glare, sapphire crystal glass cover. A grade-5 titanium case secures the watch and its sturdy, rugged appearance, further safeguarded by an impact-resistant ceramic and rubber edge and also making it water-resistant up to 100 meters.
The Bell and Ross BR-X1 operates with a movement designed by Dubois-Depraz. Its grey-tinted mineral glass dial holds hour, minute, and small second hands that are filled with Superluminova, which makes them glow in the dark, a skeleton date at 6 o?clock, a pair of handy timers?60 seconds, and 30 minutes?and toggle-push buttons. The sleek applique metal indices have Superluminova inserts as well. This timepiece attaches to the wrist with a black rubber strap for a utilitarian feel.
Ambitious, resilient, and can certainly be called a real, bold man?s watch, the BR-X1 comes in a limited edition number of 250 pieces only, each costing aprox over twenthy thousand US $.
