Rolex Milgauss
Established by Hans Wildorf and Alfred Davis in 1905, Rolex is perhaps the best known luxury watch brand in the market. In 1956, recognizing the need of those who need to field off the negative effects of magnetism in their daily work, the brand introduced the Rolex Milgauss. The name refers to a unit of measurement of magnetic fields. The watches are able to withstand magnetic fields of up to 1,000 gauss and is the only line with such function amongst the Rolex collection. The Rolex Milgauss is forged from steel, measuring 40mm and features double solid casebacks with an automatic movement beating underneath. The dial is a choice of white or black with a clear sapphire crystal showcasing the hours, minutes, and the unique lightning bolt seconds hand. Whatever model you go for, a Rolex Milgauss is tested water resistant to a depth of 100m.
