Founded in 1983 by Gerd R. Lang, Chronoswiss is a German watch manufacturer but, as the name implies, every component is Swiss made. Geared towards serious horological connoisseurs, their collections such as the Chronoswiss Delphis are above and beyond reproach. Equipped with a distinct knurled bezel and turnip crown, the 38mm round case is constructed from 18k gold, stainless steel, or platinum and comes with sapphire crystal front and back showing the automatic movement. Launched in 1996, the Chronoswiss Delphis is also the first to utilize three display forms in a single timepiece, showing digital hour, retrograde minutes and analog seconds. These are indicated by a beautiful blue or white Stuart hands and Arabic numerals. With a power reserve of 35 hours and a handsome crocodile strap, the Chronoswiss Delphis certainly takes luxury watchmaking to a whole new level.
