Jaquet Droz

The history of Jaquet Droz watches is one that is well known in the industry. Opening up his first workshop in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the quality of his work is such that even the King of Spain, Ferdinand VI, found himself unable to resist acquiring all of the pieces the watchmaker had on him at the time. This was sometime in 1758. Today, the legacy of the genius behind the famous automata lives on with the Jaquet Droz Perpetual Calendar. Available in either 18k white or rose gold, it boasts of an automatic movement which is visible from the sapphire caseback and a 68-hour power reserve. Measuring around 43mm, the Jaquet Droz Perpetual Calendar features a stunning face that showcases the time with subdials and retrograde hands and a beautifully laid out perpetual calendar complication. An extremely rare piece, the Jaquet Droz Perpetual Calendar is limited to only a few pieces worldwide.
