Romain Jerome Delorean DNA

In 2004, Romain Jerome broke unto the horological scene with much aplomb as it introduced the DNA of famous legends to the adoring public. Now, Romain Jerome brings back the magic and triggers nostalgia amongst motor and film buffs alike with the Romain Jerome Delorean DNA. The 46mm steel case contains metals from the legendary DeLorean DMC-12, the iconic car model featured in Spielbergs "Back To The Future" movie. Since the DeLorean automobile debuted in 1981, the Romain Jerome DeLoarean DNA watch is available in a limited edition of only 81 numbered pieces which is indicated in the case back along with an engraved image of the car with its gull wing doors open. Inside the Romain Jerome Delorean DNA is an automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve. The dial is rhodiumed and satin-brushed and the hands with Superluminova indicates central hours, minutes, seconds, and chronograph counters. It also has other Delorean elements such as small seconds counter which resembles the yellow, red and white tail lights of the car. Though car enthusiasts can no longer own a brand new DeLorean since it went out of production, it is still possible to possess a part of its legacy with a Romain Jerome DeLorean DNA timepiece.
