Tudor Speed Iconaut
In 1946, Hans Wildorf made a cunning decision to establish a brand independent of Rolex while carrying the same outstanding quality they are already known for. The sub-brand was called the Tudor Watch Company and its immediate success guaranteed an even larger share of the Swiss luxury watch market. One of the most sought after collection is the Tudor Speed Iconaut which sports the same powerful aesthetic of its brothers. Encased in stainless steel measuring approximately 43mm to 44mm, it features a busy yet legible dial showcasing the hours, minutes, seconds, date, and GMT rimmed with a tachymetre scale and surrounded by an engraved dial. At the heart of the Tudor Speed Iconaut is an automatic movement that ensures a 46-hour power reserve. Fitted with an oyster bracelet or leather strap, the Tudor Speed Iconaut has an impressive water pressure resistance of up to 150m.
