The SLYTECH, named after a great fan of Panerai, bears the signature of Sylvester Stallone on the back. , He had requested many special editions to suit his styles and needs such as the submersibles for the movie Daylight and a personalized edition of Mare Nostrum to name a few! In 2005, Panerai, launched a limited edition of 500 watches in its new series, the Stopwatch 1000M Slytech. This watch is specifically designed for rugged and under water use. Ideal for professional divers or swimmers, Slytech is packed with an awesome water resistance of 1000mtrs backed up with the pressure release valves and helium and screwed push rods to put up with the testing conditions under water. It is provided with glasses for the measurement of times of immersion and the date window is removed to improve the legibility of time/ stopwatch parameters.
