It was in 1989 when Blancpain made watchmaking history as it unveils a world's first: a self-winding split-seconds chronograph. Continuing its quest for mechanical perfection, it has again achieved another technical feat with the Blancpain Le Brassus Split- Second Chronograph. Constructed from 18k rose gold or platinum, the 42mm watch houses an automatic movement visible from the transparent sapphire caseback. The same glass protects the white or silvered opaline dial. Besides the usual time and date indication, the Blancpain Le Brassus Split-Second Chronograph also feature a stop watch with flyback function as well as a rattrapante complication. In addition to the chronograph, a power reserve display is placed at 12 o'clock position. Water resistant up to 50m, the Blancpain Le Brassus Split-Second Chronograph fully reflects the manufacture's spirit for innovation and precision.
