Throughout its 165 year history, Cartier had been known worldwide for their magnificent jewelries and sophisticated timepieces. In 1932, they introduced the Cartier Tank Yellow Gold to address the demand for luxury watches that can be worn while engaging in sports activities. Also known as "the tipping tank", not only can it be reversed to protect the Roman dial, it can also be flipped 360 and turn into a miniature desk clock. Available in 18k yellow gold the Cartier Tank Basculante Yellow Gold features the crown at 12 o'clock with the tab for lifting the case frame situated directly above it adorned by a blue cabochon. The dial is a true Cartier classic with the minute track and blued hour and minute hands. The Cartier Tank Yellow Gold is made available for men and women and is respectively powered by a mechanical or Quartz movement.
