Chopard St. Moritz
Louis-Ulysse Chopard was born in Sonvillier, between St-Imier and La Chaux de Fonds in 1836. Twenty-four years later, he founded his own manufacture and started producing timepieces so precise he ended up supplying for the Swiss Railway. Absolute precision aside, his pieces also came to be known as not only well designed but are also a great reflections of a master jewelers prowess. Take a look at the Chopard St. Moritz collection. Crafted from steel or 18k gold, a good number are set with diamonds and precious stones. Sporting a distinctive bezel secured by eight screws, the Chopard St. Moritz measures anywhere between 20mm to 38mm and is driven by either quartz or automatic movement. A timeless classic, the dial displays Roman Numerals or dots to mark the hour, minute, and second functions while some Chopard St. Moritz feature date and chronograph functions.
