The founder Gerd-R. Lang has long since established the superiority of Chronoswiss in terms of mechanical components and aesthetic elements since its debut in 1982. Reinforcing this fact is the introduction of the Chronoswiss Delphis Steel in 1996 which combines the unlikely charm of an analog, digital, and retrograde displays. Crafted in stainless steel with a push in onion type crown and alligator strap, the case measures 38mm in diameter and 11mm thick and utilizes an automatic Chronoswiss Caliber C.124 with a power reserve of around 35 hours. The coined edge bezel of the Chronoswiss Delphis Steel frames an exquisitely guilloched silver dial with blued steel hands and Arabic Numeral markers. Reminiscent of a dolphin that the watch was named after, the Chronoswiss Delphis Steel features a retrograde arc for the minutes, jump hour, and a subsidiary seconds at 6 o'clock.
