Concord was founded in 1908 in Bienne, Switzerland and had since been making exceptional timepieces of the most luxurious materials with first rate technical capability. The introduction of the Concord Mariner collection in 1980 paved the way for the so-called sporty dress watch. Combining an elegant aesthetic with flawless functionality, the Concord Mariner comes in steel, 18k gold, or two tone and ranges in size from 25mm to 45mm. The distinct 12-sided or round case may house either a Swiss automatic or quartz movement and is water resistant from 30m to 200m. The dial is a vision of understated elegance with applied markers indicating time in some models as well as date and chronograph in others. A good selection of Concord Mariner is also encrusted with diamonds and a few boasts of an mother of pearl dial. Simple yet stylish, it makes seamless transition from denim to suit a no-brainer.
