Founded in 1946 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Dubey & Schaldenbrand is perhaps best known for the invention of "index mobile" for the split second chronograph. A partnership between two watchmakers Georges Dubey and René Schaldenbrand, the company has since committed to maintain exclusivity and uncompromising quality by producing only in very limited quantities. An example of this brand''s gem is the Dubey & Schaldenbrand Diplomatic which can be found in 18k rose gold or stainless steel measuring between 34mm to 38 in two case forms: cushion shape or round with coined edge. As a nod to tradition, the mechanism inside the Dubey & Schaldenbrand Diplomatic is a self-winding mechanical movement with a 42h power reserve. Featuring hours, minutes, sweep seconds, date, 24h display and a second time zone, the classic Dubey & Schaldenbrand Diplomatic is water resistant up to 30m.
