Ebel was founded in 1911 in La Chaux-de-Fonds by husband and wife Eug�ne Blum and Alice Levy, taking on the first letters of their names to come up with the brand name. With the help of their grandson Pierre-Alain Blum who took over in 1971, the brand became synonymous with innovative and high quality timepieces, a reflection of their slogan "the Architects of Time". One such collection of the finest watches is the Ebel Lichine. Encased in 29mm to 38mm 18k yellow gold, stainless steel, or titanium, the Ebel Lichine series offers two movements, quartz and automatic and provides selection of case shapes such as barrel tonneau, round, or hexagonal. While some models display time only functionality, several models offer the chronograph complication as well as date and power reserve indications.
