This commitment to excellence prompted the brand to launch the Glashutte Alfred Helwig series - a tribute to the great designer of the first ever flying tourbillon. Available in stainless steel, platinum and rose gold, it features a three-part case with a sapphire caseback revealing the manual winding mechanical movement with flying tourbillon. The Glashutte Alfred Helwig Tourbillon 1 measures 42mm while Tourbillon 2 is a bit smaller at 39mm. The latter also boasts of a retrograde date and power reserve indication on top of the hours, minutes, and seconds functions.
