In 1995, brilliant watchmakers Felix and Thomas Baumgartner met up with a talented designer by the name of Martin Frei. Sharing a profound devotion to the the art and science of timekeeping, the trio established Urwerk which quickly became known for its unorthodox way of measuring time. In 2011, the Urwerk 110 earned them a Grand Prix de Gen?ve prize for Best Design . Housing an automatic movement with a 39 hour power reserve inside a Grade 5 titanium case, the Urwerk 110 indicate hours via satellites and minutes through integrated hands. With small seconds and Day/Night indicator, it also alerts you when it''''s time bring it to the service center through its unique Oil Change indicator. A fascinating piece of horology to say the least, the Urwerk 110 measures 47mm x 51mm and comes in a variety of bezel materials such as steel, AlTin, tantalum, or ZrN.
