The Jaeger-LeCoultre Gyrotourbillon with a two-axis tourbillon is a limited edition piece with only 3 pieces ever produced. The back of the case of this Jaeger-LeCoultre is clear and shows the movement of the Gyrotourbillon cage. This piece has mechanical movement and is in 43mm platinum case, black sub dial and a black leather strap. The Jaeger-LeCoultre Gyrotourbillon integrates a two-axis tourbillon with a equation of time perpetual calendar showing the date, month, leap, year and equation of time. The power reserve of this watch can last up to 8 days. The Jaeger-LeCoultre Gyrotourbillon is developed by the collaboration between Eric Coudray and Magali Metrailler. At first, the complexity of this time piece can be somewhat overwhelming but all the technologies used in this watch all work together to produce a unique and limited edition time piece. The complexity of the design is carried out flawlessly, centered on the tourbillon which is basically an added escapement technology used to counter the negative effects of gravity to the accuracy of the time pieces.
