Fran�ois-Paul Journes pride in his own brand is conveyed with the words Invenit et Fecit inscribed on each dial, a Latin phrase which translates to "I invented it, and I made it". The full-fledged manufacture was founded in 1982 in Geneva, Switzerland, producing luxury watches of the highest quality starting from its most basic components. One such timepiece is the remarkable FP Journe Octa Jour et Nuit. The polished platinum case frames a dial that manages to look spartan-like in simplicity despite having both time and date functions along with day/night and power reserve indicators. The blued steel hands on the face of the FP Journe Octa Jour et Nuit is powered by a self-winding mechanism.
